Certification with a Designation of Origin implies a seal of guarantee for the consumer, certifying the highest quality of acorn-fed Iberian ham.

The Regulatory Council of the Designation of Origin works to constantly improve and monitor the Iberian products protected under its seal, carrying out exhaustive independent controls from the breeding of the Iberian pig in the pasture, through to the different stages of the product production process.

For two decades, Señorío de Montanera has been a leader in the production of pure acorn-fed Iberian ham from the Dehesa de Extremadura Designation of Origin, the most demanding in the Iberian sector in Spain.
